From February 6 to 8, 2024, Bucharest, Romania, will host the international conference "Black Sea Energy Week", organized by the Solar Academy Bulgaria Association, BalkanEngineer.com learned from BTA. The forum will bring together key figures from governments, investors, business leaders and experts from six countries - Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia and Turkey. International financial institutions and major multinational investors will also be part of the event, united to promote renewable energy and attract foreign direct investment to the region.
The event programme includes discussions and presentations on key topics such as financing renewable energy projects, the role of modern industry in the green transition, trade and partnership relations between countries, and other topical issues in the sector.
Participants in the discussions include Sebastian Bourdugia - Minister of Energy of Romania, Victor Parlikov - Minister of Energy of the Republic of Moldova, Yaroslav Demchenkov - Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Oleksandr Repkin - Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine for Economic Diplomacy, and others.
During this year's conference, participants from different countries will discuss the development of renewable energy sources in each country. The focus will be on best practices for entering local markets and forging new partnerships, which is essential for a sustainable energy future in the region.
