The German technology developer Bosch has opened a new office space and test laboratories at its Romanian plant in Transylvania. The investment is worth EUR 7 million, BalkanEngineer.com also learned from Romania-Insider.com.
The construction of the new Bosch facility began in March 2018 and was completed in September this year. The offices and testing laboratories, which have a total area of 5700 m2, will employ about 250 workers. The purpose of the investment is to provide space for new projects that will contribute to the long-term development of the factory.
The Bosch plant began operations in 2007, producing components for the automotive industry, such as sensors for tire and crankshaft speed, sensors and electronic components for engines, gearboxes, and more.
