The Belgian company Jaga, which is a popular manufacturer of air conditioning equipment and radiators, will open a production facility and R&D centre at the MIND industrial park in Kragujevac, Serbia, BalkanEngineer.com was informed by Serbianmonitor.com.
Jaga is one of the most innovative companies in its segment and operates in 35 countries worldwide. The company will hire Serbian engineers for its new facility in Serbia.
Thanks to the cooperation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and the investment group East West Valley, after Jaga, Serbia expects other investors to come to the country, and some have already announced their intentions. Companies such as Mind Group, Siemens Mobility, Avnet, Skoda transportation, IME Autolift, HADLER Serbia, CAF, STEFTRANS, Selvadia and Nelt are already working in this technology park.
Herbert Huben, President of the East West Valley company, pointed out that MIND Park and Kragujevac have all the infrastructure and educational centres important for the realisation of Jaga's plans in Serbia.
