Albanian energy operator OSSH has announced tenders for the construction of two new high-voltage substations, with the total budget of the projects being approximately 10 million euros, BalkanEngineer.com has learned from SeeNews.com. The substations are part of the country's efforts to improve and modernize its power grid.
The first substation will be built in the southwestern village of Kafaraj and will cost around 5.03 million euros. Construction is expected to be completed within 18 months. The facility will play a key role in stabilizing energy supplies in the region.
The second substation will be located in the southern village of Piqueras and has a budget of 2.86 million euros. The deadline for the completion of this project is 14 months. It will ensure a more reliable electricity supply in the southern part of the country.
The deadline for submitting bids for both projects is July 16.
