According to calculations by the General Directorate of Road Transport Services, these vehicles have contributed to an annual reduction of carbon emissions in the country by 1,409,760 kg.
Statistics also show that 66.5% of newly registered cars in the first five months of 2024 are of the Euro 5 category, which is an indicator of high environmental standards. At the same time, the number of vehicles in the Euro 4 category has decreased by 30% compared to the same period last year.
