Serbia-registered WV International Ventures, wholly owned by Dutch company WV International, plans to build a 900 MW wind farm in the northern municipality of Novi Sad, BalkanEngineer.com has learned from SeeNews.com.
The wind farm will cover a total area of 174 km2 and will be built in two phases. In the first phase, wind turbines with a total capacity of 420 MW will be installed, to which 468 MW will be added in the second phase.
WV International has been present in Serbia since 2012 and its activities cover the development of renewable energy projects. The company has not stopped expanding its energy portfolio in Serbia, focusing mainly on wind and solar power plants.
