Vitesco Technologies has opened a new test lab for the electric mobility sector in Timisoara, Romania

Vitesco Technologies, a developer and manufacturer of advanced drive systems for sustainable mobility, has opened a new testing and validation laboratory in Timisoara, Romania, BalkanEnigeer.com has learned from Romaniqjournal.com. The lab complements Vitesco Technologies' engineering centre and headquarters in the country.

 

 

Occupying approximately 3,500 m2 in the Vox Technology Park business center, the lab has more than 100 test equipment and engineering teams capable of testing more than 50 projects a year. Services offered include reliability, electromagnetic and electrical compatibility testing in accordance with international standards in the electric mobility sector.

 

The company plans to expand its team by approximately 70 new employees by the end of 2024, providing opportunities for professionals and students who want to contribute to sustainable mobility.

 

From 2021 to 2023, Vitesco Technologies is investing in two new testing facilities in Timisoara and Iași, this includes testing equipment and infrastructure construction of specific laboratories worth over EUR 20.6 million, of which approximately EUR 13.1 million in Timisoara and approximately EUR 7.5 million in Iași.

Vitesco Technologies has a total of 13 laboratories worldwide. The company has approximately 38,000 employees in 50 locations and is headquartered in Regensburg, Germany.
