The Tikves winery (North Macedonia) has invested EUR 4 million in the construction of a new facility and the purchase of modern equipment for the reception and processing of grapes, BalkanEngineer.com has learned from Denar.mk. The company thus confirms its long-term commitment and strategy of continuous investment in further sustainable development and implementation of ESG standards.
The new facility and the equipment installed in it will allow Tikves to increase the total capacity for receiving and primary processing of grapes during harvest by an additional 1.25 million kilograms. The winery is also continuously investing in all other activities that enable the company's continuous growth and progress. Thus, by the end of the year, the total investment in the modernisation of production and the introduction of modern technologies, methods and standards of work made over the last 20 years since the entry of one of the largest investors in the North of France. Macedonia, the M6 group, in Tikves, will exceed 45 million euros.
All the investments contribute mainly to preserving the quality of the grapes, reducing energy consumption in the processing process, and reducing CO2 emissions. In this way, Tikves is actively demonstrating its commitment to environmental protection and strengthening social responsibility.
