Brainchild, a company based in northern Macedonia and specialising in water sports and sailing products, has announced plans for an investment of 11 million euros over the next five years, BalkanEngineer.eu has learned from SeeNews.com. The investment includes the construction of a new factory, modernisation of the existing R&D laboratory, and the purchase of new equipment.
Construction of the new factory, estimated at 8.5 million euros, will start in 2025 in Bitola. The factory will cover 3 000 m² and provide around 200 jobs. In addition, the company will invest at least 2.5 million euros to adapt the existing 1 500 m² laboratory and to purchase modern equipment and machinery.
Brainchild is a joint venture between investors from Germany and the Netherlands. The company is committed to a sustainable and environmentally friendly manufacturing process, using recycled materials and eliminating environmentally harmful standard practices. It operates through two subsidiaries in Northern Macedonia: Brainchild Production, focused on research and development, and Brainchild Production, responsible for serial production of equipment and components.
