Serbian mineral water company Knjaz Milos has opened a new production facility worth 28.5 million euros

Knjaz Milos, a leading producer of mineral water, bottled water and fruit juices in Serbia, has opened a new production facility in the town of Arandjelovac, BalkanEngineer.com has learned from SeeNews.com. The investment amounts to 28.5 million euros and will create 100 new jobs. The Serbian government has supported the project with 4.67 million euros.

 

 

The new production facility covers an area of  6 310 m2.

 

Knjaz Milos exports its popular brands to several markets including Bulgaria, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary and others. The company's Aqua Sport water brand is the ninth best-selling water in Europe, according to RTS (Radio Television Serbia).

 

In April this year, the Czech company Mattoni 1873 acquired full control of Knjaz Milos after buying the remaining 46.43% of the shares, which were owned by PepsiCo, for 90 million euros.
