The implementation of the Air Monitoring Program for the Republic of Serbia for the period 2022-2030 will cost 2.6 billion euros, the authorities have announced. And the goal is to reduce emissions in sectors such as energy, stationary combustion installations, transport, large industrial facilities and agriculture. It is envisaged that the specific activities will be carried out in cooperation with various communications, companies and citizens.
Although 2022 is the first year in the scope of the program, in the end, the implementation of the project will be of great importance for the country, since Serbia's air efficiency is among the worst in Europe.
