On 10 October, the German company Lindner announced its latest large-scale investment in Bulgaria during an official event at the Residential Park Lozen. This is what BalkanEngineer.com learned from BTA. For this investment the company will receive a Class A Investment Certificate, which has been confirmed by the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GBITC).
Among the guests at the event were Milena Stoicheva, Minister of Innovation and Economic Growth, H.E. Irene Maria Planck, Ambassador of Germany in Bulgaria, Nikolay Gyurov, Mayor of Pancharevo District, Helmut Lang, CEO of the Lindner Group and Tim Kurth, President of GBITC, as well as senior executives of German companies in Bulgaria.
The Minister for Innovation and Economic Growth awarded a Class A Investment Certificate to the Vosen Park Campus project, focused on the development of innovative educational infrastructure, including the construction of a school and kindergarten. The construction of the park will be carried out in long-term partnership with Uwekind International School.
Lindner's initial investment in this project will be BGN 15 million, with the main aim of offering educational and non-formal learning opportunities related to culture, arts, languages and sports. The Vine Park Campus is planned to start its activities in autumn 2025.
In addition to this project, Lindner will also invest in a high-tech park known as Vine Tech Park. The project is currently in the first phase of development and includes a planned investment of approximately BGN 20 million. The main objective of the investors is to manage and develop a science and technology park, creating a suitable environment for economic, research and development activities. The project is already under certification.
With its total investment in the "Residential Park Lozen", the total amount of Lindner's investment in this area will reach BGN 300 million, making the company one of the largest German investors in Bulgaria. Its previous projects in the country include Residential Park Lozen, Residential Park Sofia and Business Park Sofia.
