The Union of Chambers of Commerce of North Macedonia (SSK) and the Prime Point Partners Institute have signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the aim of providing support to the real sector for the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and ESG standards, which address environmental, social and the managerial aspects of corporate governance and growth. The agreement, which was signed by the president of SSK Trai Angeloski and the president of Prime Point Partners and Prime Blue ESG Zoran Martynovski, anticipates the implementation of joint measures and activities to work on presenting the proposals for the company from the introduction of practices for environmental, social and corporate good the management of their activities, as well as the possibilities for their more active orientation towards sustainable concepts for business growth and development, with a special focus on small and medium-sized enterprises.
The joint initiative aims to raise awareness of the importance of the UN's global goal for sustainable development, strengthen the sustainability culture and capacity of companies and facilitate access to green finance funds for small and medium-sized enterprises.
The program will be organized as part of the wider ESG initiative delivered by the Prime Blue ESG Institute, the sustainability arm of PrimePoint Partners. Adoption of healthy ESG by local private sector practices will be essential for sustainable long-term growth, ensuring the sustainability of local private sector implementations and the global UN Sustainable Development Goals in North Macedonia.
