Iulius, a developer and operator of mixed-use urban regeneration projects in Romania, opened its second family market in Iași on 8 December. This is what Balkanengineer.com learned from Romania-insider.com.
The project is worth 12 million euros and is located in the Butzium district. Thanks to the investment, more than 180 new jobs from 26 brands were created.
"Most brands are local and national, with fresh and healthy products, from florists, groceries, confectioneries, butchers and restaurants to auto parts, hair salons and everyday essentials. The concept is designed to respond to public interest in local consumption," said Radu Parlea, Family Market shopping center manager.
The first Family Market project was opened in Miroslava, Iași County, earlier this summer, bringing a total of €24 million in investment to both, in partnership with CEC Bank.
