North Macedonian building materials producer Cementarnica Usje, a company of Greek group Titan, has appointed Mario Braci as president of the company's board of directors, BalkanEngineer.com has learned from SeeNews.com.
Mario Bracci replaces Yianni Paniaras, who resigned due to other professional commitments at Titan Group. Mr. Bracci has over 30 years of global experience in the cement manufacturing business in Italy, USA, Switzerland, Thailand, Spain, Morocco and Albania. Over the years, he moved from operational to general management positions with full responsibility. He has managed businesses with revenues of up to €400 million and over 1000 employees.
The company also announced that Konstantinos Nicolaou will assume the role of Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) until the next shareholders' meeting, succeeding Boris Khrisafov, who is retiring.
Cementarnica Usje shares were last traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) on 30 January at an average price of 30,500 denars ($534.1/495.3 euros).
Greek cement producer Titan owns a production company in Bulgaria - Zlatna Panega Cement.
