Bulgarian photovoltaic (PV) equipment supplier AmmonRa Energy is in ongoing negotiations to acquire its main partner and distributor in Romania in a bid to expand its presence in the country, the company told BalkanEngineer.com.
"AmonRa Energy expects to establish a physical presence in Romania early next year and is currently selecting a location for its logistics center," says the company's founder and CEO, Dimitar Beleliev.
AmonRa partners with 29 external installers in Romania, and in Bulgaria the company works with 446 external installers and 7 distributors. The Bulgarian company has achieved good results in Romania and expects its operations in the country to soon generate around 20% of total sales. According to the latest interim financial report, in the first half of 2023 the company's sales amounted to BGN 27.2 million (USD 14.6 million/EUR 13.9 million).
The company's structure also includes another company from the renewable energy sector - the Bulgarian company Cerb Solar.
