Together with fifteen other private mobility companies, Bulgarian cargo drone developer Dronamics will advise the European Union (EU) on global transport innovation as part of the EU Future Mobility Taskforce initiative. BalkanEngineer.com has learned this from SeeNews.com.

The collaboration, initiated by Estonian transportation company Bolt and Spanish multimobility platform Cabify, aims to address key challenges faced by innovators in the mobility sector, promoting EU objectives and Europe's competitiveness in advanced mobility.

The working group brings together EU unicorns and start-ups in freight, air mobility, shared mobility, electric vehicle charging and rail, focusing on transport innovation and high technology. The aim is to introduce new solutions that meet consumer demand and improve sustainability, accessibility and connectivity in mobility.

Partners will address issues such as outdated and fragmented regulation, lack of enforcement, barriers to market entry and access to finance and data. The Task Force will inform and guide EU policy makers for the next legislative mandate, and the first step will be the submission of a comprehensive report including collective conclusions and recommendations to European Transport Commissioner Adina Valean this spring.

In addition to Dronamics, the working group includes the companies Aura Aero, Bolt, Cabify, Carto, EVBOX, EV Connect, Fastned, Flix, Lilium, MaasGlobal, Nevomo, Otiv, Volocopter, Voi and Virta.
