The Slovenian battery company TAB Mak has installed the third largest solar power plant in North Macedonia to produce electricity. This is what BalkanEngineer.com learned from Publics.bg.
The 8.4 MW solar park is located in Probishtip and extends over 10 ha and has over 15,000 modules and a further 6,000 panels installed on the roof of the plant. The government of North Macedonia announced that the new facility will cover 25% of the electricity needed.
North Macedonia has launched economic support measures for households and companies with a total value of 760 million euros. The country is going through an energy transformation, which is especially necessary in the energy shortage conditions that many countries find themselves in at the moment. The state is also in talks with Akuo Energy about a 400 MW solar power project in Stip.
