Austrian timber company Kronospan is expanding its operations in Bulgaria and is actively seeking new technical staff for its team, BalkanEngineer.com was informed by Money.bg. Kronospan Bulgaria is a leading supplier of wood materials and accessories for furniture companies in Bulgaria and worldwide.
With financial investments of nearly 300 million euros and a long tradition, the company supplies some of the best furniture companies and maintains successful partnerships with distributors at home and abroad. The majority of the new staff sought will be needed for the core production. These include electricians, mechanics, forklift operators, machine operators, packers and others.
The company invests in long-term staff development plans and supports various forms of training and up-skilling. Among the solutions is the possibility of sending workers abroad, where the company has other production plants.
Kronospan is one of the largest investors in Veliko Tarnovo region, Bulgaria, holding a first-class investor certificate. The company originated as a small family sawmill in 1897 in Austria and is now an industrial giant with branches in over 40 countries from Spain to Austria and from Belarus to the USA.
