Albanian solar farm developer Vega Energy has installed 17 400 photovoltaic (PV) panels at a 10 MW solar power plant for Italian energy company EG Nascita in central Italy, BalkanEngineer.com has learned from SeeNews.com.
Vega Energy is using PV modules manufactured by international energy company Canadian Solar, the company said in a LinkedIn post.
According to the Italian business association Unioncamere, EG Nascita is registered as a limited liability company in Milan.
Vega Energy is a subsidiary of Vega Group, founded in 2018, which originally specialised in installing rooftop solar systems. In 2022, the group established Vega Energy, focusing its activities on the construction of photovoltaic parks.
