All Albanian students who choose special priority fields will benefit from a scholarship equal to the minimum wage. This is what BalkanEngineer.com learned from Acp.al. There will be no average criteria for the scholarship.
The decision of the Council of Ministers was published on the official website along with a list of priority fields, among them engineering. The quotas will be distributed to universities depending on the number of students and the programmes on the priority list, which will be applied to the country's higher education institutions.
Unlike the previous similar decision to secure a scholarship from 2022, now the Albanian government has decided to remove the average criterion to encourage graduates to choose to study in priority fields, where they will benefit from a scholarship worth 40 thousand lek with the only condition that after the end of their studies, they will work in Albania for at least 3 years.
