Experts from SpaceCAD comment on an interesting tendency: the integration of specialized AI in the Siemens ecosystem, expected to solve the problems of time and lack of experienced workforce.

Transforming Solid Edge into a “intelligent” partner begins with the ability of the interface to self-learn. Unlike standard CAD systems with static icons, here we see a more adaptive environment, which, based on the words of SpaceCAD, “learns your habits and foresees your actions”.

Moving on to working with large assemblies, AI takes on the role of geometric navigator. One of the biggest challenges facing engineering offices is the time lost in manually “fitting” components.
