Wilo launches its new circulation pumps – Wilo-Star-Z NOVA1.0 for DHW and Wilo-Atmos MAXO1.0 for HVAC systems

The established pump manufacturer Wilo began 2026 with two new additions to its portfolio for building installations – the pump Wilo-Star-Z NOVA1.0, meant for circulation of hot water, and the Wilo-Atmos MAXO1.0 circulation pump for heating and cooling systems. "Both new models have been developed to increase energy efficiency in building applications, and of course, optimize comfort for users," the company told BalkanEngineer.com.

Wilo-Atmos MAXO1.0 – the optimal solution for efficient heating and cooling

The circulation pump Wilo-Atmos MAXO1.0 is designed for usage in building heating and cooling systems, guaranteeing high energy efficiency and stable performance. This is done at the appropriate sites, where comfort and reliability are a priority, such as office buildings, trade centers, schools, kindergartens, stadiums and so on.” commented Wilo.

"In addition to helping save energy, this circulation pump makes the work of installers and users easier, as it is extremely straightforward to install, and operating modes or speed levels are easily set via the green button," Wilo summarized.

Wilo-Star-Z NOVA1.0 – so you don't have to wait for hot water

Wilo-Star-Z NOVA1.0 is a new version of the established circulation pump Wilo-Star-Z NOVA, as it offers optimized performance for small circle and length only 84 mmm with the same reliability. The “A” is equipped with a check and shut-off valve, while the “T” version adds an extra level of hygienic safety thanks to the built-in timer, thermostat and automatic detection of thermal disinfection.

"We all know how uncomfortable it is to drain and wait for hot water to come out of the shower, but do we know exactly how much resources we are wasting? For a single-family house of four people, for example, the amount of water consumed just for waiting can exceed 15 m3 per year. – that's how much is needed to take 300-400 showers or for 15 waterings on a lawn of 200 m2," Wilo further added.
