Partial discharge (PD) diagnostics is an essential element for maintaining stability in electrical energy systems, but older diagnostic tools often hamper the process. Large sizes, the time-consuming setting and the limited functionality can burden technical specialists while performing regular tasks, negatively impacting the precision and effectiveness of the measurements, which are of critical importance. "Megger's new ICMneo stand-alone device is designed to overcome these limitations by combining advanced technology, portability and a user-friendly interface, allowing for comprehensive insulation diagnostics of medium (MV) and high voltage (HV) devices. Whether you are working in a laboratory environment or conducting critical field measurements, ICMneo provides the data needed to ensure the reliability and functionality of the power infrastructure," Megger told BalkanEngineer.com.

“The ICMneo system uses a unified digital architecture with an intuitive user interface and maintaining measurements in line with IEC 60270. It ensures up to four parallel measuring channels, which allows for the registration critical data in real time during tests and distribution transformers, cables, rotating electrical machines and other equipment," the company said.
ICMneo features an intuitive touch interface, with a responsive touchscreen that simplifies configuration and analysis, reducing training time and minimizing operational errors. “Measurement and analysis functions are integrated into one reliable device. This eliminates the need for external computers or complex additional software,” the company added.
ICMneo's digital signal processing enables precise sound management in up to four measurement channels. This ensures reliable decision-making based on precise and dependable data.
