The new addition to the SECUTEST ST PRIME is the integrated function for high voltage testing with a direct current up to 6 kV. This type of testing is widely utilized in the production of electrical equipment to verify the dielectric strength of the insulation and to check compliance with design requirements regarding clearance and creepage distance between two conductive parts. Additionally, this high voltage test allows for finding production defects, which can lead to compromised safety.
