Modern industry relies more on collaborative robots, which combine flexibility, safety and high technological effectiveness. One such example is the solutions provided by Kiberys, more specifically the six-axis collaborative robot Kibot V6, designed for a variety of welding applications. "Kibot V6 cobots have numerous specialized welding functions and provide advanced control over welding parameters through integration with Kemppi welding power sources from the X5, Master M and AX series. In one of our latest projects, we configured Kibot V6 to work in full synchronization with a two-axis positioner, which allows for optimal positioning of the workpiece and achieving high-quality welds on complex products, in this case sheet metal segment elbows," BalkanEngineer.com was informed by the leading company Kiberys, specializing in the development of robotic systems - a subsidiary of trading and engineering company Kimex.

The roboticized system Kibot V6 by Kiberys gives professional welders the chance to change 13 parameters of the process, including the welding speed, wire feed speed, voltage, arc dynamics, as well as torch oscillation parameters such as frequency, amplitude and depth (in the case of V-shaped oscillation). Additionally, it also allows control of oscillation end-position hold, seam tracking parameters, and path correction.

"Such a degree of control allows adaptation to different welding technologies, as well as to different materials, including structural and stainless steels and aluminum alloys," commented Kiberys .

The synchronized work with single-axis and dual-axis positioners significantly increases the application of the robotic systems in welding complex geometries. This includes pipes, pressure vessels, frames and products with difficult contours where it is necessary to maintain an optimal welding position.
