When designing residential and commercial sites, a much greater importance is placed on solutions, which are capable of complying to the multitude of expectations – comfort all year round, optimal energy use, ensured heat supply and flexibility for different operation modes. For this reason, investors and designers continue to focus on integrated hybrid systems, which combine the essential energy needs of the building in the parameters of a complete, effective, single system.

"The Hoval hybrid system is an integrated solution for heating, cooling and domestic hot water preparation, developed for residential, industrial and commercial sites with high energy needs. The system allows for the effective utilization of renewable energy sources, while providing reliability, flexibility and sustainability in the long term," BalkanEngineer.com was informed by Hoval Bulgaria.
The hybrid systems of the global producer combine different energy technologies in a single solution, which uses the advantages of every separate component. One of the Hoval systems combines the air-water heat pumps Belaria® pro, the UltraGas 2 gas condensing boiler, the TransTherm aqua L heat exchange station for domestic hot water preparation and the TopTronic E modular controller. "The Belaria® pro heat pump uses the natural refrigerant R290 and can provide a supply temperature of up to 70°C. The UltraGas® 2 gas boiler is designed to operate with natural gas E, mixtures with up to 20% hydrogen (H₂), propane and biomethane according to the EN 16723 standard," the company explained.
Working in synchronization, these products form the complete system, aimed towards heating, cooling, and hot water for residential and commerical buildings with high requirements for energy efficiency, reliability and comfort.
