The Romanian TeraPlast Group acquired a new production line

The Romanian manufacturer of PVC profiles and polymer products TeraPlast Group had acquired a production line for polyethylene films from Brikston Construction Solutions, BalkanEngineer.com learned from Romania-insider.com. The group is the only producer of HFFR granules in Romania.

 

 

The newly acquired assets, which are currently located in Sighișoara, will be moved to Năsăud at the plant of Somplast, which has been part of the TeraPlast Group since the end of 2020 and is engaged in the production of flexible packaging. The company’s facility for PVC products recycling will also be transferred there.

 

Somplast’s production areas in the town of Năsăud have 20 000 m2 of halls with the possibility of modernization and development. The planned investments of the group include repairs of the premises in order to expand its capacity.
