Pan-European company VGP is building a new business park near Belgrade

On March 13, 2023, a groundbreaking ceremony was held to mark the beginning of construction of VGP Park Belgrade in Dobanovci, Serbia, BalkanEngineer.com learned from Serbianmonitor.com. The new business park will cover 1,140,000 m2 and will be built next to the M-70 and M-75 highways and the Belgrade ring road, in close proximity to Nikola Tesla International Airport and only 15 km west of the city center.

 

 

In addition to the Serbian president, VGP executive director Jan Van Geet was also present. VGP is a pan-European company that owns, manages and develops real estate in the logistics and semi-industrial production segment. The company provides services to clients looking for business locations near major European cities, with direct access to major roads and 24-hour service.

 

VGP Group operates in 17 European countries, has properties in 14 countries (Germany, Czech Republic, Spain, Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Austria, Hungary, Latvia, Romania, Slovakia, Serbia, Croatia and France) and is listed on the Euronext stock exchange in Brussels. As of December 2022, the gross value of VGP's assets, including joint ventures, stood at €6.44 billion, while the company's net asset value (EPRA NTA) stood at €2.3 billion.
