At the end of 2020, the Romanian technology center for startups Oradea Tech Hub launched its pre-acceleration program Make IT in Oradea, BalkanEngineer.com learned from Romania-Insider.com.
The annual budget of the program is provided by Oradea City Hall, Romania. The funds amount to EUR 300 000, 80% of which will be used to finance projects with growth potential.
The pilot initiative of the technology center's program is the Bright Labs startup incubator, Oradea Tech Hub CEO David Achim told Ziarul Financiar.
The organization also published its first Oradea Startups Report 2020, presenting the dynamics of the technology startup ecosystem in Oradea and the 22 active startups in the center's ecosystem. Through it Oradea Tech Hub aims to encourage the development of new startups, as well as to attract talent and investors, said Achim.
Oradea Tech Hub was established in May 2015, with the aim of developing and uniting the community of technology enthusiasts in the region.
