OMV Petrom and Enel X to install 10 stations for electric cars in Romania

Energy company OMV Petrom and Enel X România will install 10 fast charging stations for electric cars in OMV and Petrom petrol stations in the next months, BalkanEngineer.com learned from OMV Petrom.

 

 

The stations have an available power of at least 50kW, and charging 80% of the car's battery capacity will take about 25 minutes. The facilities will be located at a distance of about 380 km on the country`s main roads.

 

More than 40 charging stations for electric vehicles are expected to be installed in OMV Petrom's regional network by the end of 2021, said Radu Caprau, a member of the company's Executive Board.

 

OMV Petrom is the largest energy company in South-Eastern Europe. The group is present on the market in Romania and neighboring countries with a total of 802 service stations of the two brands - OMV and Petrom.
