North Macedonian pharmaceutical giant Alkaloid plans record revenues of 361 million euro and expansion of its team with new employees

Macedonian pharmaceutical leader Alkaloid has announced its ambitious business plan for 2026, which envisages consolidated sales revenues reaching an impressive 361 million euro. The projected growth of 7% over the previous year will be supported by the stable performance of the core pharmaceutical business, which is expected to generate 91% of total turnover. The company continues to focus on its strong international orientation, planning to sell 66% of its production on foreign markets, thus confirming its position as a leading exporter in the region, BalkanEngineer.com learned from the company's official report.

The company's financial strategy for next year is aimed at increasing efficiency, with net profit growth of at least 7% expected. To ensure its long-term development, Alkaloid plans to reinvest about 8% of its consolidated revenue in tangible and intangible assets. Research and development remains a particular priority, with the budget set to increase by 10% in order to modernize the portfolio and develop high value-added products.

In addition to technological upgrades, the company plans to expand its team by about 50 new employees in Bulgaria and abroad, combined with further increases in salaries and investments in professional training. At the same time, the improvement of environmental and social standards within the framework of the adopted ESG strategy will continue, according to the published report.
