In the conditions of a lack of qualified personnel in the industrial sector, more and more companies are looking for sustainable solutions, to surpass the traditional process of picking employees. Part of these solutions include investing in training, technological development and long-term retention of specialists. In this context, Multivac Bulgaria Production expands its production team and opens new opportunities for professional development in the field of welding.

As part of the global developer and producer of packaging solutions Multivac, for Multivac Bulgaria Production the role of specialists in the position of “Welder” is more than significant. This is when you take into account, that the Bulgarian company manufactures a significant portion of the body parts and frames of the machines produced by the Multivac group. The work includes preparation of details with different degrees of complexity, using TIG/WIG and laser cutting, as well as consistent quality control and work on technical documentation.
"The responsibility of welders is directly related to the final quality of our products. That is why we approach both the selection and the training of the people in the team extremely carefully," commented Multivac Bulgaria Production.
Besides technical skills, the company puts a focus on precision, the ability to work in a team and keeping clearly defined production processes. Welding experience is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
One of the most important elements in the approach by Multivac Bulgaria Production is internal preparation and training of new welders, who are enlisted with little or no experience in the field. The company ensures that its specialists go through a course, professional training and certification at The Welding Center at the Institute of Metallurgy of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
At the end of the training period, the worker acquires a Certificate of Competence in Welding based on method 141 Inert Gas Arc Welding with a Non-Consumable Electrode (TIG / WIG) for fillet welds and sheet metal.
