Miele invests EUR 4 mln in its Romanian plant

The German group Miele, specializing in the production of home appliances, will invest another EUR 4 million in 2021 for equipment in its factory for production of components for home appliances in Brasov, Central Romania, BalkanEngineer.com learned from Romania-Insider. com.

 

 

According to Romanian factory`s general manager, Florin Muresan, the equipment will help increase the production capacity of the company in the second half of the year.

 

Moreover, Miele will start construction of a new production hall with related office space in Brasov. The investment is a continuation of the medium and long-term development plans of the company, and the new premises will be ready at the end of 2023.

 

Miele's factory in Brasov started operating in the autumn of 2009. So far, the company's total investment in the company amounts to over EUR 35-40 million.
