Macprogres expands its production capacity with a new food processing plant in North Macedonia

Macprogres, a leading North Macedonian food and beverage company, has officially launched its new plant in the city of Vinica. The official opening ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski, BalkanEngineer.com learned from a report by the MIA.mk media agency. The new investment is part of the company’s long-term plan for modernization, increasing production volume, and strengthening its position in international markets.

Macprogress’s new factory is equipped with modern high-tech production lines that meet strict international standards for food quality and safety. The company, which is among the largest exporters in North Macedonia and sells its products in dozens of countries around the world, will be able to significantly expand its product portfolio. The investment is expected not only to create new jobs in the city of Vinica but also to provide a strong economic boost to the entire eastern region of the country by attracting new local suppliers of raw materials.

During the event, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski emphasized that the government is strongly committed to improving the business climate in the country. He announced plans to introduce more substantial measures for financial and administrative support, specifically targeting local manufacturing companies. According to the Prime Minister, strengthening support for domestic businesses is of paramount importance for enhancing competitiveness, stimulating exports, and accelerating the country’s overall economic growth.
