Macedonia provides EUR 2.2 million for technological development of 33 companies

The Macedonian Fund for Innovation and Technology Development will provide an amount of EUR 2.2 million to the 33 companies that have applied for a grant program. The companies will invest an additional EUR 5 million of their own funds for the implementation of their projects, BalkanEngineer.com learned from Denar.mk.

 

 

The program is being carried out to support the technological development of enterprises and private health facilities in North Macedonia, which will finance activities such as purchasing equipment, launching new production lines, preparing and implementing measures for energy efficiency improvement, and more. The purpose of the initiative is to introduce new technologies into the business and to increase the competitiveness of the local companies.

 

Most of the companies that have applied for the grant are small and micro enterprises. Their projects are mainly related to the development of trade and sales, marketing, education, agriculture, construction, energy, hospitality and medicine.
