The Chamber of Commerce of North Macedonia launches a campaign for raising awareness and taking measures to tackle pollution and climate change, BalkanEngineer.com learned from Denar.mk. The project is aimed at motivating and engaging institutions and companies.

The chamber is calling on everyone to get involved by taking simple but effective measures. The Macedonian chamber proposes 10 steps for each institution, organization and company, including raising awareness of employees, partners, suppliers, customers; promoting an eco-friendly and paperless way of working by introducing digital tools; reducing energy consumption in the workplace; reducing waste generation, recycling and repair instead of buying new products; choosing renewable energy sources for own needs and projects; use of public and alternative transport and more.

In recent years, not only air pollution, but also overall environmental pollution has reached alarming levels, which has a negative and long-term impact on everyone living and working in Macedonia.
