Automotive wiring systems manufacturer Leoni has announced that it plans to hire around 1,000 new workers for its factory in Kraljevo, Serbia, as soon as possible. This is what Balkanengineer.com learned from Serbiamonitor.com.

At the moment, the factory employs about 4,330 workers, while in total in Serbia (together with the factories in Malošishte, Niš, Dolevac and Prokuple) they are 13,700.
Miloš Manić, who succeeded Pierluigi Gione as CEO of Leoni in Serbia, said that the company wants to strengthen the existing cooperation with the authorities in Kraljevo and the branch of the National Employment Service in the city, as the company's capacity increases.
Jelena Spasic, Director of Human Resources at Leoni Serbia, added that the working conditions and the remuneration and bonus system are the same for all four factories operating in Serbia since 2009.
