With a total area of 60,000 m², KAM has opened the largest logistics center in Macedonia, built to the latest standards. The site is located just a few kilometers from the center of Skopje, covering an area of 16,000 m2 with a capacity of 6,800 pallets for dry products and 2,500 pallets for frozen products, learned Balkanengineer.com from Denar.mk.
The investment is worth 12,000,000 euros, and aims to help speed and efficiency in the economy, contributing to huge savings in product prices for end users.
The logistics center has its own quality control section, which performs daily inspections of products, which ensures their freshness and quality.
Modern equipment and electric forklifts are used to increase maximum efficiency, and the physical operation of the entire facility can be minimized. The center also offers modern working conditions, adequate accommodation and a pleasant atmosphere.
The KAM logistics center also actively contributes to the protection of the environment. 100 tons of waste are recycled per month, and the entire optimized distribution process saves 5 million kilometers per month, which saves 900 tons of CO2 emissions per month.
