An Italian company is building an industrial complex in Sombor, Serbia

The Italian shoe company Progetti will build a multifunctional complex in the industrial zone of Sombor, Serbia, BalkanEngineer.com learned from SerbianMonitor.com. The facilities foreseen in the project will extend over an area of ​​64 284 m2.

 

 

The industrial complex will include the construction of an administrative building, five footwear manufacturing plants, warehouses, offices, a clinic, a parking lot, as well as an auditorium and a nursery for the children of the company’s employees. Progetti plans for the facilities to be built in stages, all of them to be connected by covered bridges and four load-bearing structures when completed.

 

Progetti was established in 2001. The company’s core business is the production of ready-made shoes as well as shoe parts for some of the largest fashion companies in the world, including Gucci and Prada. The company has three factories in Serbia where up to 1000 employees are working.
