The renewable energy fund INVL, managed by INVL Asset Management, continues to actively invest in Romania, where it has signed two agreements to acquire six solar projects with a total capacity of 102.7 MW, Balkanengineer.com has learned from Romaniajournal.ro.

After this project in Romania, the INVL Renewable Energy Fund I portfolio has increased to 268.7 MW. All of the projects already have approved conditions for joining the network, and the total investment potential of the fund in Romania will exceed 200 million euros. The power plants are expected to start operating gradually from 2024, while the commissioning of the entire portfolio is expected in the second half of 2025.

The fund says that the attractiveness of the Romanian market is growing rapidly and there is a continuous increase in the interest of foreign investors in the country's renewable energy sector.

Recently, INVL I also announced an additional fundraising round, which already has 34.6 million euros and will end at the beginning of November, and in addition to Romania and Poland, the fund is also considering investment opportunities in the Baltic countries.
