Grabner Instruments opens a new production base in Serbia

The Austrian manufacturer of analytical equipment Grabner Instruments had opened a new plant in the Serbian city of Subotica, BalkanEngineer.com learned from Ekapija.com. The factory’s production will be part of the activity of the international developer of electronic tools and electromechanical devices Ametek.

 

 

The new plant of Grabner Instruments will produce instruments for oil and gas quality measurement, and the company has already delivered its first developments to the US market. The plant employs 20 highly qualified specialists. This year, Ametek had expanded its operations in Serbia with three more production bases, with the facility in Subotica being the first to launch its own production in the country.

 

Ametek designs and manufactures advanced analytical and measuring equipment with application in sectors such as energy, medicine and aerospace engineering, as well as for various research activities. Founded back in 1930, today the company has a total of 17 000 employees in over 150 locations in 30 countries around the world. There are 460 people employed in Ametek’s Serbian facilities.
