The Italian company GLM plans new investments in Zrenjanin, Serbia. The company intends to hire between 150 and 350 new employees who will be trained to work with the new equipment in Italy, BalkanEngineer.com learned from CU Europe.
In August, GLM rented the production facility in Zrenjanin, which was previously owned by Minel. GLM currently provides a job for 45 people, working on three shifts. The production of the automotive components is exported mainly to Belgium, France and Germany.
The company produces exhaust systems for Dacia, Nissan, Renault, Mercedes, etc. In order to expand its business, GLM will invest EUR 8.5 million with expected future investments to follow.
