The glass factory in Pleven, Bulgaria, is developing its production in an innovative environment, with the owner Glass Contribution envisaging a third investment in a row, which will exceed the value of BGN 100 million and will open more than 150 new jobs, BalkanEngineer.com has learned from BTA.

The new investment is aimed at building a 300-ton furnace, which will help reduce the extremely high energy consumption in the glass industry and the harmful emissions of carbon dioxide from production. In this way, the expansion of production will be achieved at the same time as meeting the highest environmental standards in the world and will ensure a better quality of life not only for the workers, but also for the residents of the entire area.
In response to the measures and actions taken for both the economic and the ecological development of production in the glass workshop, the Municipality of Pleven undertakes a priority administrative service in the shortest possible time.
