German manufacturers of electrical components are building plants in Serbia

The German electronics companies HDT and A2000, which specialize in printed circuit boards production, are finalizing the construction of their plants in Svilajnac, Serbia. A total of 200 highly skilled workers are expected to be hired at the two facilities, BalkanEngineer.com learned from SerbianMonitor.com.

 

 

The factory of HDT will cover an area of ​​2000 m2 and will be the future workplace of 100 employees. The second German company – A2000, has bought 1 ha of land, where it is building a factory with an area of ​​over 1000 m2. The production at the plant will start in the second half of 2020, with 100 workers expected to be hired there as well.

 

Many factories of world-famous companies such as Ariston, Panasonic and Wosloch-Schwab operate in the Serbian town of Svilajnac, which will soon be joined by the Swiss manufacturer of lighting equipment Regent with a plant worth EUR 8 million.
