From 2022 the unmanned aerial vehicles of the Bulgarian company Drоnаmісѕ will be used by the leading logistics company Hellmann for deliveries of vital goods in Europe. The aim is to bypass the excessively long supply chains, BalkanEngineer.com learned from Economy.bg.

Hellmanns chief operating officer commented that the drones were suitable for emergency deliveries of spare parts for machines, vaccines, plasma and other pharmaceutical products.

The drones can carry up to 350 kg of cargo, and their maximum range reaches 2500 km. The unmanned aircrafts, which need a 400-meter area for take-off and landing at the airport, will fly only between airport terminals.

Drоnаmісѕ CEO Svilen Pangelov told Reuters that at that time the company had signed contracts with 39 airports in 13 European countries. According to his words, the plan is to use 60 drones for a number of clients from 2022, including Hellmann.
