On the Visteon’s engineers initiative, from it’s hub in Sofia, the first car software competition was launched in Bulgaria on February 19th, 2018, BalkanEngineer.com learned. The task in the race is to develop an open source software product, that alerts the drivers to dangerous situations on the road.
Anyone wishing to participate in the competition, can do so by sending a short description of their project through the Visteon website till March 15th, 2018. Which ones are the best proposals will become clear till March 19th.
On March 28th, 2018, in the technology center of the company the actual development of winning ideas will take place, and on the next day the big winner will be announced.
