Registration begins for the new edition of the ClimAccelerator Black Sea program, which supports green business solutions and clean technologies. This year, the program will again support 14 young Bulgarian companies and their projects to tackle climate change, providing funding of up to 20,000 euros for 11 of the solutions, as well as mentoring support for 3 more projects, learned Balkanengineer.com from Capital.bg.

Companies wishing to join the program have the opportunity to sign up for the first two stages - Phase 1 and Phase 2, until August 17 this year, by filling out an online application form, briefly describing their business idea. Registration for Phase 3 is until the end of September.

The project in Bulgaria is organized by Innovation Starter Accelerator, as part of a consortium between Bulgaria and Romania, with a leading Romanian partner from Impact Hub Bucharest.

For eight of the projects at the "idea" stage, the program provides a guarantor of 5,000 euros each and a two-month training program for adaptation of ideas and selection of first clients. Three other companies in the same phase will have the opportunity to receive training and grant funding in the amount of 20 thousand euros. Three of the green companies in the "validation" phase will have the opportunity to benefit from mentoring support for seeking funding and meetings with development investors.
