The Chinese company Haitian Machinery will build a plant for the production of industrial injection molding machines and cutting and molding machines in Ruma, Vojvodina in Serbia. This is what BalkanEngineer.com learned from Serbianmonitor.com.
The complex will cover 250,000 m2, with a planned production of a total of 250 machines per year – 160 plastic injection machines, 60 CNC cutting machines and 30 casting machines. This is shown by the project prepared by the Belgrade company Masinoprojekt Kopring for Haitian Machinery, one of the world's largest manufacturers of injection molding machines.
It is planned to build a production hall, an administrative headquarters, and also a recreation center for employees with a restaurant, sports fields and a fountain. The complex will also have a facility for the treatment of technological waste water, as well as storage facilities for waste, chemicals and oils.
The investment is estimated to be the largest in Ruma in the last three decades. Haitian will employ around 300 workers, with an estimated average salary of €650 to over €1,000, and the opening of the factory will also be an opportunity for local suppliers.
