17 march 2025

Burgas-based Pobeda, a well-known confectionery manufacturer in Bulgaria, is taking a new direction - developing healthier products, BalkanEngineer.com has learned from a company announcement. In response to growing consumer demands, the company is investing heavily in advanced technologies that improve product quality and reduce the use of packaging materials.

Over the past two years, Pobeda has invested more than BGN 2 million in new equipment that makes the production process more efficient and environmentally friendly. The company now uses only recyclable packaging and its photovoltaic system provides around 20% of the electricity needed.

The manufacturer is expanding its portfolio with biscuits without added sugar and a range of biscuits with oats, raisins, coconut and orange - products that combine traditional taste and healthier ingredients. To maintain the balance between high quality and affordability, the company is optimising its costs and implementing energy-saving technologies, given the rise in the price of cocoa worldwide.

On the international scene, Pobeda maintains a solid presence - its products are now available in over 20 countries. Despite the economic challenges, the company is looking to the future and plans to expand its partnerships, especially in the Middle East. The Catering and HoReCa division is also developing, offering an ever wider range of healthy products for hotels, restaurants and educational establishments.
